A gorgeous slice of ’80s minimalism from the 1982 solo album A Distant Shore by Tracey Thorn of Everything But The Girl. Though she had already met future partner and longtime collaborator Ben Watt at Hull University, they both originally signed to Cherry Records as solo artists.
