In no particular order some of my favourite music moments. No 10 Easy Money by Johnny Marr.
After a promising start with The Messenger Johnny Marr really showed he had the chops as a solo artist with his second album Playland.
Easy Money is the nearest thing you can get to instant classic, a fine exhibition of Johnny’s guitar playing and songwriting – as good as anything he’s done before, including (sacrilege alert!), The Smiths.
With the prolific axeman also knocking out a spectacular live album Adrenaline Baby, it looks like that white tea he’s famous for imbibing is certainly working its magic.
